Brief bio of speakers:

Nabi De Angulo, Psychotherapist

Nabi De Angulo is the co-founder of Hermana Luna. A non-profit whose mission is to promote mental and physical health through ecologically sustainable initiatives.

Nabi is a certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider (MHIMP), Trauma-Informed Yoga Practitioner and Clinical Trauma Professional.  Her therapeutic approach integrates a combination of psychosomatic modalities to help survivors of complex trauma find healing and restoration in their lives. 

Nabi began her career in a rural community in the mountains of Bolivia working with community-based projects to address the root causes of her neighborhood’s challanges including, gang-related violence, addictions, intimate partner violence and child abuse. Nabi received a Master's in Social Policy and Practice with a concentration in Child Development from the University of Pennsylvania. Her fascination with neuroscience stemmed from working with pregnant and parenting adolescents in Philadelphia centering her work on  bonding and attachment between infant and caregiver as well as the impact of trauma on brain development. 

 

Mahama Nyankamawu, Performance & Well-being Coach

 Mahama Nyankamawu is a professional coach based in Palo Alto. Mahama’s  mission is to empower teenagers to discover long-term happiness and transform the world.

Mahama is the director of Breakthrough Paths and works with business executives, teenagers and educational leaders in the Bay Area to enhance performance, improve communication skills, increase emotional resilience and attain personal mastery. 

 Mahama has 10+ years of experience working in corporate America, City Government and serving as CEO of Volta LLC, a California based clean energy company that provides energy services to institutions and businesses in Ghana. 

Mahama has graduate degrees in Engineering from Georgia Tech and Public Administration from Columbia University. He is the co-author of ‘Career 3.0 - Career Planning Advice to Find your Dream Job in Today’s Digital World’
